25 years ago the E.F.U. Sales Agency was found by Frank Utesch, together with his father Edgar Utesch. Because of the good connections to the Mills Engineering Company in the United States, they were able to ensure the exclusive rights of distribution for the entire territory of Europe. As of today the premium designer trash cans, can be found in nearly every amusement park in Germany and a great majority of zoo’s and parks all over Europe. Manufactured with outstanding high quality material and profession, the products and great service were able to keep customers and patrons for more than 23 years. After the retirement of Edgar Utesch the company was changed into a sole tradership but re-established in 2015 when Thorben Utesch, son of Frank Utesch was introduced as a new shareholder and partner. The company is now named Utesch Handelsgesellschaft GbR.
One of the biggest and loyal customers has always been the Europa Park in Germany with more than 94 hectare of space. Many zoo’s like the Zoo Hannover or Zoo Munich, but also amusement parks like the Heide Park or Phantasialand have been trusted and loyal customers for many years. With typical Hamburg-City wit and salesmanship, as well as receptiveness for creative ideas and unique designs, the amount of patronage is steadily increasing and as of today we are proud to serve more than 100 customers in Europe.
